Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance misuse.
Mental Health First Aiders learn how to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem, or experiencing a crisis.
Mental Health First Aid certification is good for 3 years, and you are never required to use the training.
Mental Health First Aid USA is managed, operated, and disseminated by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
